We are only able to offer payout for pre-owned items that meets our quality standards. We are unable to issue a credit for items with any of the following issues:

Excessive Wear

Below are some examples of excessive wear on an item that we will not be able to offer a credit for.

Excessive pilling

Excessive unthreading

Excessive scratches

Excessive discoloration
Missing size and/or care tag with product details attached
Items missing essential components (i.e. detachable hood, powder skirt, backpack straps, etc.)
Excessive pet hair

One or more of the issues above applies to my item, but I still want to send it in to be repurposed to its next best use. I understand that I will not receive any credit for this item.

Shipping and returns

A standard shipping fee of $10 will be deducted from the total estimated value for each trade-in. Once shipped, we cannot return it if we find it is not accepted for resale.

Next best use

Gear that Arc’teryx receives that is ineligible for trade-in gets repurposed to it’s next best use and does not qualify for a gift card.

Examples of next best use include

Material and Parts salvaging for upcycling initiatives
Service centre education
End of life recycling
